1. Our commitment
We aim to meet level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2) and the recommendations of the Brazilian Electronic Government Accessibility Model (Modelo de Acessibilidade em Governo Eletrônico, eMAG), on the website and in the app.
2. Conformance status
Mippo's is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA, according to an internal assessment carried out on September 29, 2026. There has not yet been an external audit or testing with people with disabilities.
3. What we already offer
- Full keyboard navigation, with visible focus and a shortcut to skip to the content.
- Structure with headings, regions and labels for screen readers; illustrations with descriptions.
- Colors with adequate contrast and text that can be enlarged without losing content.
- Fewer animations when the device asks to reduce motion.
- Agreements with pictures and read-aloud narration for children who cannot read yet.
- Large touch buttons and a tap alternative for everything done by dragging.
4. Known limitations
- Arranging the star tokens by dragging can be difficult for some people; the same arrangement can be done with taps only.
- Not all decorative animations follow the device's “reduce motion” option; we are reviewing the remaining ones.
- The descriptions of the agreements, goals and badges that come with the app have recorded narration; what the family writes is read by the Portuguese voice installed on the device, which may be missing on some models.
- Photos sent by families may not have a detailed description.
- An external audit and testing with people with disabilities are still pending.
