Beach day
Use it anytime
A reward chart for the whole family. Together you agree on what earns a star, choose the goals and celebrate each win with a coupon: an outing, a movie night at home, an ice cream.
How it works
Mippo's turns what you already do at home into a simple cycle your child can see.
Putting toys away, brushing teeth, trying something hard. Each agreement gets a picture and an explanation your child understands.
One tap and the stars arrive. A mistake? Undo it. On hard days, you choose: talk it over or, if your family wants, take stars away with a clear reason.
They choose where to save their stars. Goal complete? You approve it and they get a coupon to use whenever they like.
For kids
Pictures instead of long texts, narration for kids who can't read yet, and a pinch of math in every star they save.
Stars become tokens of 1, 5, 10, 25, 50 and 100. To save 3 in a goal, your child breaks a 5; to tidy the jar, they join two 5s into a 10.
Tap twice to break
10 = 5 + 5
Drop one on another to join
5 + 5 = 10!
Each agreement has an original illustration and can be read aloud. The routine is split into morning, afternoon and evening, and the name card shows the day of the week. Done? Your child lets you know, a grown-up checks, and the stars arrive.
Listen to the agreement
A completed goal becomes a shiny coupon. Your child picks when to use it, and the grown-ups get the request.
Your child picks one of the twelve Mippos, with no photo in the profile. It hatches from an egg and grows with the stars your child earns. It sleeps at night, dreams about the day if someone pokes it while it sleeps, and gets visits from friends when the family completes a goal. It never gets sick or sad. It only celebrates.
Its landscape changes with the weather: rain showers, rainbows, rare snow and shooting stars. The name card also holds the badges they're proudest of.
For grown-ups
Start with four ready-made agreements and four goals. Adapt everything to the way your home works and follow each child's progress.
“I did it!” notices, completed goals and coupon requests arrive at the bell at the top of the screen.
With Mippo's installed, your phone tells you when your child taps “I did it!”, completes a goal or wants to use a coupon.
Mom, dad, grandparents, babysitter: each grown-up with their own login. Caregivers celebrate; parents set the rules.
Each child has their own goals, and the family can pool stars for something together.
One login joins up to 10 families: grandparents with a grandchild in each home, or parents in different homes.
Stars you give can be undone for up to 10 minutes.
Ready-made goals to adapt, with illustrated covers.
Your child only gets back to the grown-ups’ area with the 4-digit PIN or password. You can sign in with your fingerprint or face.
Connect a tablet with a code: it opens straight to your child's screen and stores no grown-up password.
A goal can link to a book or toy. It's optional, and only grown-ups see it.
What we believe
Talking counts too.
On hard days, you can just log a conversation, without touching the stars.
Taking stars away is the family's choice.
If you want, you can take away free stars, always with a reason. Stars saved in goals stay protected.
The basics are never a prize.
Affection, food, sleep and safety never depend on stars. Goals are moments and extra choices.
Experiences before things.
Outings and time together come first in the ideas. Buying something is always the family's choice.
Safety and privacy
Your child uses an illustrated profile; grown-ups control access and can download or delete the family's data. Details in the Privacy Policy.
A parent or guardian creates the account. Your child never gives an e-mail, phone number or password.
Kids pick illustrated characters for their profiles.
Your child's screen has no ads or shopping links, and we don't build behavior profiles.
Children's data is only processed with specific permission from a parent or legal guardian.
Passwords and the grown-ups' PIN stored with one-way hashing, attempt limits, single-use recovery links, a family activity log and continuous backups.
Download everything your family saved or delete the account anytime, right in the app. A deleted profile stays in the trash for 7 days, so nothing is lost by mistake.
Transparency
Every family gets 7 days to try Mippo's at their own pace. If it works for you, one pass keeps the whole family together.
One pass covers the whole family. Any grown-up can give one, grandparents too.
One more month, same rhythm.
A whole season, start to finish.
As many seasons as you like.
For now, passes can only be bought in Brazil.
Crochet Mippos Coming soon
We're making the 12 Mippos in crochet, handmade one by one by local artisans. The idea is for each one to arrive in a box with a booklet of family moments you choose.
It can't be earned with stars and never appears on your child's screen: it's a family gift, outside the app.
No price or date yet. Launch notices are in Portuguese for now: sign up on the Portuguese page.
Concept image. Pieces and box still in development.
Frequently asked questions
Every family gets 7 days free, with no credit card and no commitment. After that, one pass keeps the whole family going: monthly, season or yearly. Nothing renews on its own. For now, passes can only be bought in Brazil.
The family. One pass covers all its grown-ups, kids and devices, and any grown-up in the family can buy it, grandparents too. Parents are notified, and new passes add days to the current one.
Nothing is lost. Everything stays saved, and what your kids have earned still counts: goals, coupons and badges. Only new stars and goals wait for the next pass. Your child's screen never talks about payment.
No. Mippo's works in the browser on phones, tablets and computers. If you like, add it to your home screen to open it like an app.
It's designed for kids around 3 to 10. For the youngest, agreements have pictures and can be read aloud; for older kids, star tokens become a game of adding up.
On their own screen, on a grown-up's device or on a tablet connected with a code. The first time, their Mippo walks them through it, out loud. In the routine, they see the morning, afternoon and evening agreements and tell you when they've done one (“I did it!”); in goals, they save their star tokens; in coupons, they use what they've earned. Getting back to the grown-ups' area takes the 4-digit PIN or password.
The character that lives on your child's name card. It hatches from an egg and grows with the stars your child earns, sleeps at night, gets visits from friends when the family completes a goal and plays along when a coupon is used. It never gets sick, hungry or sad: it only celebrates. Each character grows on its own: switching starts the new one from the egg, and the previous one stays the size it was, waiting for your child to come back. You can turn off the living habitat in your account settings.
Yes, with the “I did it!” button. The grown-ups get the notice, check it and confirm; only then do the stars arrive. To avoid overdoing it, there's a pause between two notices for the same agreement and a daily limit. You can turn this off in your account settings.
Yes. Invite up to 8 grown-ups with a code. Parents manage everything; caregivers (grandparents, aunts and uncles, babysitter) give stars, confirm notices, give badges and approve coupons. Each grown-up has their own login, and the history shows who did what.
Yes. The Mippo's landscape follows the weather of the day: rain showers, rainbows, fog, snow (rare outside Kiko's pole), shooting stars and, now and then, a comet or a balloon. It's a light effect on the landscape: it doesn't change stars, goals or anything about your child, and it's off when the living habitat is off.
Yes. Each person creates their own family and can join others by invitation, up to 10 in all: grandparents with a grandchild in each home, or parents in different homes. Each family has up to 8 grown-ups.
Yes. Each child has their own character, stars and goals, and you can also create shared goals that everyone contributes to.
For 10 minutes, the child's card shows what you just logged, with an undo button. It also appears in the notice right after and in the child's diary. It only won't work if they've already saved those stars in a goal.
Yes, if your family wants. You take away free stars and always give a reason, such as a missed agreement. Stars saved in goals stay protected. You can also just log a conversation. If you'd rather use only positive reinforcement, turn this option off in your account settings.
Use the forgot-password link on the sign-in screen: we send your confirmed e-mail a link that lasts 30 minutes and works once. If your login has no confirmed e-mail, write to us with your username and your kids’ names.
Only what the app needs to work: each grown-up's login (username, protected password and e-mail, required for whoever creates the family), each child's name or nickname, the chosen character, stars, goals, badges, “I did it!” notices, the notes you write, the family's activity log and, for security, access records (date, time and IP). We never ask for children's photos, location or contact details.
In your account settings, in the app, you can download your data or delete the account. A deletion requested by the family's creator is scheduled for 7 days: the other grown-ups are notified and can download the data, and it can be canceled in that time. A deleted child profile stays in the trash for 7 days. Other grown-ups can leave the family anytime.
Create an account and add your first child: the first agreements and goals come ready. It takes less than two minutes.
